What a beautiful bride!!! I love the dress...I was hoping we (who weren't a the wedding)would get to see a picture of it. What a great life you have ...here's to more wonderful memories in the future. A faithful fan!
I just finished going through your whole blog, love it! It's so nice to see what others went through with GBS. I would love to hear an update from you on where you are now. I'm sure your very busy with your new life and I hope that you had a great Christmas! Can you be added on FB? Thanks, Amy
Hello Kristen! I've spent the past few hours reading your blog in its entirety, and I just wanted to say thank you for letting all of us join in your journey. I'm having my WLS in February, and I'm positively scared shitless. Reading about you and your life gives me comfort, and I want to thank you for that. Congratulations on the wedding and may you live happily ever after :) Caroline, all the way from Gothenburg, Sweden.
Caroline...if you see this, please join us at ImPerfect Life Blog....Andrea has created a support system for those who have had WLS, are getting WLS & those just trying to be healtjust love a healthier lifestyle. :)
I think I have read your entire blog...twice. I am in the process of deciding to have the surgery. Most days, I'm good with the decision and then others not so much. Until I look in the mirror. I hope that you are still doing well. I wanted to know that your blog has helped alot. I know my experience will be different. But your perspective helped.
Gastric Bypass cost prevents me from undergoing the surgery. It is very expensive and I am considering a safer and inexpensive solution which is better than gastric bypass surgery: Roca Labs costs only $640 compared to $12,000 gastric bypass surgery cost. Anyway, gastric bypass NO surgery sound better. But, I am not sure if Roca Labs is good or how...
My mother’s Gastric Bypass cost was $18,720 and endless costly side effects. 5 years later my father found a gastric bypass no surgery solution to loss his extra 120lbs and this time without the costly side effects. The Formula had an health insurance discount so the bottom line was only $480 and he lost 78lbs.
Hi Kristen! I am so glad I found your blog today. I am 34 and recently had gastric bypass surgery on January 30th. As of today I am down 25lbs., but feel like crap. :)
I hope to keep in touch with you and your continued journey. Congratulations!
I think I must have stumbled across your blog on boston.com at one time, when they were profiling readers' weight loss journeys. I'm really enjoying reading it and surely wish you would post more! A friend had GBS about a year ago -- she has not followed the program to the letter and has had some issues. I am glad your experience is much better! I am about 100 lbs. overweight, but I am too terrified to even consider this surgery. I'm having knee replacement surgery in 3 weeks and that thought freaks me out, too.
I found your blog SO helpful and would LOVE to hear what happened after you got married? Please post an update. I am sure there are a LOT of people who would like to hear what has been happening now that you're married! Please let us know. Thanks! Wendy
You look so amazing! My cousin is looking to get weight loss surgery before her wedding. Do you have any recommendations? http://www.medicalcenterhealthsystem.com/bariatric/pages/default.aspx
Wishing you a merry full life ahead. Snacks and dinner arrangements at wedding venues Los Angeles booked by my neighbor were quite exotic. Loved and cheesy and baked section with fruit platters. Drinks were branded too. All guests praised about the staff attention and extra efforts made on appetizers.
